    The main difference between this scenario and what I envisioned was that for a national murder day, you have to register your intended victim/victims in a public forum. Give 30 days notice, the various factions target each other, and limits the violence to just the people and areas that got the permits.
    There would likely never become a second event, the aftermath being a realization of what we allowed our society to become.
    This is not a recommended course of action, just an ironic solution to a paradoxical situation.
