Yeah, our country is ridiculous. I have no opinion eitherway on this verdict, just dont' know enough about the case.
BUT I do think we'll see more and more of this. Our country is so hell bent on guns and self defense (even though, statistically, it guns kill more innocent people than protect, well, they don't do anything but pad an ego, really) and ego that more and more will think to "protect" and kill w/o provocation.
Me, if this continues, I'll be buying a gun to be able to shoot the first idiot that draws a gun and thinks he's going to "protect" me or my neighborhood. Keep watching stupid things like black friday and Florida's insane laws (surely Texas, etc., have similar), there will be more and more.
I'd be dead as a teen if laws like this existed then. I was a punk. Harmless, but not exactly well behaved and certainly not going to listen to some older punk telling me what to do, if anything, I'd give some random guy more trouble (no badge, no respect, don't know who the hell the other person could be).Insanity for sure. Only gonna get worse.
