I have family in Flint and I hate going to visit. Most have managed to move to outlying areas into nice houses but I dread having to go anywhere near there. I go through Detroit sometimes and it's always depressing. It's just such a shithole in pretty much every way. It looks like wartime Dresden and the people are scum. I know it's bad to call them that as they're poor and uneducated but they still suck. It's sad when the only bright spot is hipster artists renovating burned out sheds.
- And they sit there and it never crosses their minds to do anything about it. Not even mow the lawn.monospaced
