    I think the problem is more of a long term one, that Microsoft is still dependent on the same products since before Ballmer became CEO. Their attempts to launch something new have pretty much all failed: Zune, Windows Phone, and now the failure of the Surface tablet.

    • But not sure it's really Ballmer's fault. It's just hard to innovative in such a big, bureaucratic company.ukit2
