Just as an aside/bump - I'm of the demographic that actually DOES look at consumer food (er.. is there any other kind?) websites - not for the social aspect, but I'm often interested in seeing business ownership and general culture or other product ranges.
I am an *incredibly* sad little man though.
Just this last week - a site for a can of drink (couldn't work out why there was no Company name on the can - turns out owner is a brewery company, so presumably the health message abutted the boozing one) as well as a company who sell a range of pots of lentil salads,taboulehs, falafels etc (to find out the company's history - they've jumped leaps and bounds since I first moved to London).
