It's bollocks. I commented rather profanely on a YouTube comment the other day and the next day I had a notification saying a work colleague had 'liked' it.
I never even wanted a google plus profile and certainly didn't know my YouTube activity was linked to it. I closed my google plus profile and it then didn't allow me to access my YouTube playlists, so I had to reopen the profile.
Fuck you google.
