Bankrolling basically. I mean it's gaming journalism so it doesn't have any integrity at the best of times.
It was utterly blatant with the polygon review, you could tell they'd paid then to give it a higher score than the PS4 seen as there was very few positive points in the review then the almost arbitrary scores came out of nowhere at the end of the review (seems dumb to score a console anyway) and it had only the slightest lead over the PS4 with no real justification.
