Also while you're at the auto parts store buy some fuel injector cleaner and dump it in your gas tank. I like Chevron Techron. You could have some residue in your injectors and that could be why you're losing performance. Your injectors are basically little sprayers (think of them like those on a spray bottle) and they electronically meter fuel into the cylinders.
