  I was there last year, stayed at first hotel excelsior, which is a pretty inexpensive but centrally located hotel. 1 block from the train station. right off the Stroget. has 2(!) strip clubs next to it, but was a reasonable place to stay. Not luxurious, but very central and easy walking. Has bike rentals, and a pretty good breakfast buffet. I'd stay they again on the cheap.
