I was looking to start something yoga-like and I've taken up Tai Chi over the past 3 months and I'm loving it. It started with some tuition which also included a dozen Qi Gong moves.
I was a bit cynical before - old peeps waving about in the park, how hard can it be? - but it needs a lot of leg-strength and balance and many moves require you to go as low/wide/tall etc as you can.
As well as being supremely relaxing it's really helped with mouse-arm aches, flexibility and my general posture. MrsT has noticed I'm tending less towards the grumpy old git with a stoop.
- tai chi is fun. i just have a hard time raising my leg really highscarabin
- Where do you go? Gym? Youtube?ohhhhhsnap
- Doing an evening course at local college. After 4-5 classes, you can start doing it on your own. Next step, mornings in the park...MrT
