    nobody gave matthew mccoughnahey the time of day before true detective season 1 / mud / dallas buyers club, and now look at him.

    colin farrel and vince vaughn have both shown legit acting chops but have been typecast historically, just like mccounahey. people laughing now will be eating those words if the script and director hold up to season 1's standards.
