    What do you want to do? I'm a product designer, do a lot of research, personas, user flows, creating interaction models, etc. It's not just about creating wireframes (this is becoming more and more true).

    At least in the software/app world, I'm seeing a trend towards visual interface designers (visual designers with front end code expertise) which makes more sense to me. If you are a good visual designer who can code and understand how visual/information hierarchy influences user experience, you'll be VERY hirable. I'd hire you right now! :)
