Here's an example of a nice person:
Email to my sister at work from another co-worker:
"Wow, thank you. You are very generous. Can I just say that I love working with you. Your instructions are always clear and precise. And you don’t skimp on appreciation. You create a great work environment. Thanks!"
This almost never happens at the workplace, and this type of "being nice," goes a LONG WAY in my opinion.
