    Finally saw the gold one in real life. Looks shitty, not shiny like the press images. Oh well.

    But yeah, the 12" MacBook is really closest in size/weight to an iPad plus keyboard, and obviously a laptop is a far more useful a tool for working than an iPad.

    If you want something to do graphic work, but is also very portable, the best bet is the 13" Retina MacBook Pro. More power, still very portable. If you're mostly writing/reading, the new 12" would be great.
