  Go for the GoPro because of the massive amount of compatible underwater housings, drones, tripod-thingies, helmet-mountings, etc..

  There are cameras that deliver a slightly better quality but the difference is not much.

  Be sure that all 'actioncams' have a massive wide-angle that makes it only capable of in-car shots, action sports shots (what they*re for) and maybe areal views of mountain massives. Anything else looks shit.
