Depends on the rig. Volva and Mercedes have rigs that are auto that practically drive themselves. Otherwise get familiar with an enormous transmition of a dozen or so gears to shift through managing the incredible amounts of momentum. On the highway its pretty smooth sailing, once you have to venture into cities and towns it gets pretty nerve racking though, plus the no-truck roads that are poorly indicated. Gotta buy a GPS specifically for trucks to combat that last issue. Company I drove for were cheap fucks though
