i feel like the first and second season are almost complete opposites. the first i'd given up on after 4 episodes with slow development, obvious bait imagery and a kind of boring take on the topic.
season 1 ended however in some of the most heart-wrenching, stunning, holy shit did that just happen fashions.
meanwhile season 2 took all that and kept it going through about episode 7 or 8, then just kind of lumbered through the last two to a rather anti climactic and disappointing finish.
