I loved this line a long time ago after a bad breakup in college. It was sort of my "F U" to the girl and others who I felt like I'd opened up to and shared my dreams with, only to be crushed. I interpreted it like: when I reach the dreams I've shared with you, you'll be the first one I'll say "See, I did it" to.
