If you're downtown, check out Revival Food Hall that just opened a while back at 125 South Clark Street. http://revivalfoodhall.com. Lots of good food there.

If you want to go up high in a building, go to the Hancock building's 96th floor bar / restaurant and have a drink or two. It beats paying the entry fee for the observatory, and it's a pretty incredible view.

We also have a new riverwalk along the south portion of Wacker Drive that's good for people watching, walking along the bridges, etc. http://riverwalkchicago.com/http…

If you're into Italian food and have never been to Eataly (there's one in NYC), check that place out and eat some good stuff.

The lakefront in front of Grant Park is really nice too. There are still boats in the harbor, good for photos, and walking down to the museum campus where the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, and Adler Planetarium are located.
