I can count on one hand the number of times I have taken work home over the past nine-odd years I've been doing this job - fuck that noise. I have a setup at home - C4D, Vray etc. but I tend to be reactive and work really hard and fast so I can leave the office on time and avoid loose ends. Not always the most elegant solution but I know my limits and how long it takes me to do certain tasks and how flexible I can be depending on the deadline.

For my own personal wellbeing and state of mind my time away from the job is extremely important to me - and I actively organise my workflow towards keeping everything within normal office hours.

If the job requires it i'll stay late and have worked weekends for the OT money - but I refuse to take things home with me - once I walk out the office that's it until the next day - I can come in early if I feel I need the extra time.

    • Reactive, as in I just deal with things as they happen and get it done.face_melter
