I think I'm gonna buy the Switch today. Target is selling near my house for just $300 (I've seen it for $359 on Amazon) and has them in stock!

    good bye daylight!

    • yeah, finally seeing them at retail consistently :)monospaced
    • when you go, don't let anyone talk you into buying the pro controller, you don't need one :)monospaced
    • ^ok!sarahfailin
    • I ended up buying one cause it's a nicer controller when playing on a tv... but you don't NEED one.ben_
    • I bought one, but started playing with the joy-cons it came with right away. Ended up returning the unopened pro controller and got $70 back.monospaced
    • Lots of people said the included ones weren't any good for large hands, but it turns out they're just fine.monospaced
    • (I'm not saying the Pro controller is bad, btw, it's probably amazing)monospaced
    • let me know how you get on sarah. I am so close but keep pulling back. I know my eldest will love it and we will play together and the little one will also soonfadein11
    • but do I want more screen time for them. I know I can limit it but its another battle in the house that can be avoided. Having looked at it all properly todayfadein11
    • and looking at Mario odyssey I nearly bought. Will have a think again over the wknd. I used to buy most consoles and were not used that much after the initialfadein11
    • novelty - just when friends were round. as an adult have never been much of a lone gamer.fadein11
    • it's not even a big purchase though so I should just fuck it and keep it for myself hahafadein11
    • You don't need the whole console to be fairset
    • Eh? genuinely don't know what you mean? so don't bite back pls.fadein11
    • Why is it $299 on their website but almost $360 everywhere else?notype
    • It's people (enterprising assholes?) still cashing in on low availability with inflated prices.monospaced
