I have till 630€ and was thinking in buying something like this (ordered by preference):

    SONY DSC-RX 100 III

    PANASONIC Lumix DMC-TZ101

CANON PowerShot G7 X Mark II

But a friend told me to invest instead in something like this:

    SONY Alpha 6000

    read fate's comment afterwards.
any thoughts or alternative suggestions in the same price range?

    • depends on what you are using it for.. if you just want an everyday carry camera then RX100 or the Pana-TZ101 will be great, Canon is nice too.....futurefood
    • you really can't go wrong with one of these three cameras. Personally, I use the RX100 mk1. I carry it around pretty much everywhere. i dont like....futurefood
    • the pop-up viewfinder on the mk3, so PanaTZ101 looks interesting if looking for built in EVF.futurefood
    • Instead of A6000, have you checked out the recent Fuji APS-C
      lineup? great cameras!

    • additionally,
not sure about sony rx100 mk3 or the pana/canon,

    • but the rx100 mk1 is built like a mini tank, i must have dropped it from standing height +10x now, still works 100%. just a note..futurefood
    • thanks futurefood. your first two comments were my initial thought but...oey
    • my friend ask me why pay for carl zeiss if I can have a full frame camera for the same price with detachable lenses and great quality as well.oey
    • i read before that the A600 was full frame but it's actually not.oey
    • yea, they are damn expensive for what they are. full frame? nice!
go for it. that will be my next camera purchase in the near future
      futurefood
    • thats why i bought rx100 mk1, found one for $100. the quality is just right for a pocket camera

let us know what you get!
