Come on 'men', how do we make things better? Nobody needs this shit. It's fucked up and this thread's only going to include the cunts who make the news. Not the other completely self-absorbed, mindfucks who wait outside trains for that extra second look, thinking they're slimey, pathetic mouth needs to be connected to a womans to really make her feel respected.

It really is blowing my mind. :-(

    • I felt kinda sheltered after the discovery last year that 'dick pics' were actually a thing. I guess there are deep psychological issues and simple surface onesSteveJobs
    • as well. Many men project what we wouldn't be as offended by - the unsolicited reveal of a woman's body. Going beyond that, however, I don't understand.SteveJobs
    • mutual desire helps in those situations. id love to see a guy naked IF we were on a date AND we discussed mutual attraction and wanting to do more.shellie
    • shocker: coming to an agreement about pushing boundaries in some sort of sexual exchange does not turn women off.shellie
    • if i was single i would literally love if someone asked to kiss me. 8th grade moves are back in style. "may i kiss you" *swoon*shellie
    • I get that, and it seems generally accepted in my circle of friends that’s how things work. But that’s not how it works for some other men.Ianbolton
    • I want to know how to change that. Maybe I’ll set up a support group or something, but someone has to set an example or be a good ear at least.Ianbolton
    • i do know there were at least 10 men who saw that assult described below and nobody even checked to see if I was okay. somewhere in there is an opp to helpshellie
    • It’s really shitty. I’d say over 50% of all the women I know have been or know somebody who’s been in similar situations or worse too.Ianbolton
    • my most supportive friends on issues on women or people of color, don't argue with me they just listen and try hard to understand why i feel the way i do.shellie
    • if you think that story is crazy read this. http://www.qbn.com/r… ended in October but really went off the rails last march (pre Weinstein).shellie
    • http://www.qbn.com/r…shellie
    • These guys we are hearing about aren't normal guys. Very few of them are from normal towns etc. These prob are psychopathsmugwart
    • Wish this wasn't put out in the media as a purely 'male" thing but more a psychological condition.mugwart
    • It’s mostly male psychological condition tho.pango
    • true, but only because historically men have had to be the "predators". To be fair where I grew up it was the opposite.mugwart
    • not escaping this discusting behaviour - just worried how anti men the world is getting when it not 99% of men.mugwart
    • Just like the world is currently anti-Muslim because of a couple of suicide bombers? 1 person ruins it for all!Ianbolton
    • No I don't see it that way. The world is only anti pervy men from this particular subject. Can't really say the world is anti men when we rule everything.pango
    • Even cooking! Lol. I wonder how many top ten highest paying chefs are women. Yet that's the thing we stereo type women with. "Get back in the kitchen!"pango
    • I hear what you are saying but growing up in a very old household, it wasn't clear cut that man had the power due to work.mugwart
    • My grandfather was one of the Queen's advicer, major player in old school buisness london. My grandmother never worked in her life and she had more power thanmugwart
    • he did.
I'm not saying the world is right, nor that what we are seeing and hearing is wrong. I just see everything he hear about so simplified.
      mugwart
    • These guys are cunts. These guys need to be made examples of. Most people have enough morality never to do this.mugwart
    • I guess I'm more interested in the thought behaviours over gender arguments.mugwart
    • Also going back to my grandfather. Growing up around these cunts, i saw narasitics, these vipers and it wasn't just "men" it was in the mindset of the family.mugwart
    • I think it's all about individualism and understanding our own spaces in an age in which gender roles have completely changed or even disappeared completelyIanbolton
    • Well I don't know how to compare those well connected families with majority of the population... I simply don't know much about them.pango
    • Men aren't going to give up that so-called power as a lot of it is competitive human nature. But they're also not going to openly talk about it either.Ianbolton
    • What I know is these pervy mind set can exist in every demographic of men. Everyone is normal till they're not.pango
    • Women too but for some reason less than men. I'm gonna guess the problem is rooted in the culture.pango
    • Give a man 50 wives and he could have 50 times more children. But a woman with 50 husbands?Ianbolton
    • Maybe it’s biological? https://www.redpeppe…Ianbolton
    • its hard to describe - its about education and mindsets. Men have had a roll where he is educated to step forth into the light.mugwart
    • I bet these people are psychopaths, narcissists and almost no real traits of humanity left in them. I bet they had experiences with decimated their psychesmugwart
    • Humanity is moving forth and fast (about time) but I see it stop short at "man" "woman" which undervalues all humanity.mugwart
    • 19 I hitched hiked around Vietnam as off the beaten track as I could. I was getting offers all the time from women/fathers/pips. They were shocked that I refusemugwart
    • so I know its this is everywhere. I'm not blind to this. I nearly killed someone when Iwas offered a small girl.mugwart
    • that said I have been involve with a narcissistic women and seen them decimate lives. Growing up it was normal to sleep around. Get pregnant choose the best...mugwart
    • thats maturnalty fraud and never discussed. my argument here is that there are major problems we are all facing but they are being guided by media & govermentsmugwart
    • better put, we have been educated to point fingers at each other when those above us are doing fucked up shit. We haven't been educated to look within.mugwart
    • Wouldnt it be cool if we got taught psychology, Jung etc at schools. Work us out as well as others. I want me kid to be writing about his shadow self not howmugwart
    • "Churchill saved the world" (I shit you not)mugwart
    • Ian... that 50 wife's thing is comparing women to live stock... birthing is the only purpose for them... ya... no.pango
    • Not saying only men. But mostly men.
I'd say it's the culture. Culture as in moral value and mind set passed down from generations. Most of the time with out
      pango
    • Questions just because it's has always been that way so it shall remain.pango
    • Our generations are seriously blessed with information hyperdrive. Where we are questioning and reevaluating everything. Even that flat earth thing...pango
    • The article explains things from a Darwinian evolutionary perspective, so not sure it’s completely wrong if that’s been our history. How do we change our ways?Ianbolton
    • We are on the same page! I agree with this.
I just see men suffering as well, be it differently. Like to stand up for all!
      mugwart
    • It suggests men have always had to compete for the women. We are naturally more competitive. Now we have less of a need to compete in the same wayIanbolton
    • Ian. Ya we would always have those instincts. But as society evolves, perhaps the path of least resistance is to adapt.pango
    • Mug, I get where you’re at. Our current status is to try individually to work who or what we are when existentially we’re under less threat than ever before.Ianbolton
    • Mug. I agree with men suffering. We have higher suicide rate than women. But I think it's best to discuss it as 2 different subjects.pango
    • In fact, the biggest threat to males on this planet is suicide. So technically we’re a bigger threat to ourselves. Let’s understand that.Ianbolton
    • Whenever the issue of men suffering gets brought up during the subject of women suffering caused by men, the discussion never progresses.pango
    • And why are mens suffering only being brought up when men's are being accused of causing suffering? Can't we have that discussion with out having to sound likepango
    • Men prey on women because men are suffering? It's really not a justification.pango
    • Totally. Maybe we need to ‘man the fuck up’?! Or maybe it’d help if people just listened instead of smashing out brainless opinionsIanbolton
    • pango rides for women. good on you, sir.shellie
    • Thx :D But just you wait. Give me sometime and I'll saying something completely stupid. https://i.imgur.com/…pango
    • ^ Haha. It's a tightrope mate!Ianbolton
    • Just to specify, none of our comments are justifying why Weinstein was a complete power-hungry prick abusing women the way he did!Ianbolton
    • Agreed, these guys are cunts & need to be strung out to dry. As with all these thieves & abusing cunts. I hope these cunts were involved in stealing my workmugwart
    • shit sounds too personal!mugwart
    • In terms of how to correct this cultural behavier. I think we just need to call it out when we see it. The hardest part will be with friends...pango
    • I believe in honesty, sounds corney but if we all are honest and every moment, i think only good things can come. I do believe that our minds are no longer oursmugwart
    • so will take a while to shift through the clutter up there!
But Im in agreement with what you said. Honest and respect
      mugwart
