this seems to partially be a counter sexual revolution thing, often more than the scientific / personal benefit claims
- Fap is fine, porn is the problem. HD free unlimited porn - it's not normal for humans to see so much sexual material.shapesalad
- You can say only in the last few years has the availability of almost any kind of sex act in full HD beamed straight to your phone/home been possible.shapesalad
- Which is not something humans have easily been able to see in the millions of years of evolution. And so it's distorting our minds.shapesalad
- Overall it's similar to high fructose syrup, or synthetic drugs / 'spice' etc. Just too unnatural and concentrated to be of any good to humans.shapesalad
- < saw some other no flap no pro videos, from young men that used to tap 20 times a day and were like porn addicted zombies.shapesalad
- So glad I was teen in the days of top shelf soft porn material that you had to embarrassingly buy from your local newsagent.shapesalad

- good points!sofas
- ^ yes I agree but for the first time we have been able to make sex "normal" as well. Its better to have acknowledgement and seek a community if you have amugwart
- fetish and knowledge can be spread.
But mass mindless consumption of porn I agree is terrible, as is most things.mugwart - But there are also pros to making sex casual and being desensitized, maybe in some aspects our 'normal' is like that of the bonobo's?sofas
- It’s so weird seeing this new strain of conservatism, almost like this neo pre Victorian thing, trying to make porn taboo again. Males doing it too.monospaced
- You could pretty much make the identical argument for anything that has only been around for the last few decades. First time in all of human evolution blah blamonospaced
- Personally I don’t see any major issue to it. Some people get addicted to it. Some people are into furries. Some get off gambling. Pick a vice.monospaced
- But blaming it as if were some core issue at the heart of current issues is Freudian at best.monospaced
- imagine having a wanking problem so bad it affected your day today life. Porn or wanking are clearly not the problem, major mental health issues are.fadein11
- yup, and I’m sure those issues are older than broadband internet streaming porn toomonospaced
- why not consider that unfettered, uncensored access to no-limits hardcore porn MIGHT be part of the problem?Fax_Benson
- access is your first and second consideration when the issue is guns / shooting incidents. Not puritanical to question itFax_Benson
- valid points, I'm afraid I just find this thread too 4chan and ludicrous even for QBN.fadein11
- certainly has 4chan potential. Maybe in ten years there will be journos tracing a violent sub-culture of angry men called No-Wanks back to this threadFax_Benson

- What would Peterson say? "Get a grip of yourselves!"
Sorry I will get my coat and leave this thread nowfadein11
