I made a decision a couple months ago to start a move back to London for my girlfriend. She moved to London recently, part of her reason to move and study there was to be with me... I delayed my move back by 2 months... much upset caused... but I've realised now I love the city of Lisbon more than my girlfriend. I mean ~ I love Lisbon! I hear my self thinking it. God damn this place is awesome. Everyday there's something charming. I stopped checking the weather forecast as every day is the same, only before October the temp is slowing increasing towards 35c, and afterwards slowly decreasing. I've forgotten what a 100% cloudy sky looks like, and if it rained it'd want to go outside and dance around in it, so infrequent it is. The last weekend of September and it's bright hot sun, 30c+ and as soon as I dive into the clear blue sea, which has a nice temp of 20c, I see a school of fish and feel like I'm in another world... and it only took 30mins on the cheaply priced €1.90 train to get to the beach! And did I mention the women were topless on the beach! Heaven it is! European heaven. I bought a bottle of the new season wine, locally grown in Lisbon district, 3 types of grapes, one other best fruit fresh red wines I've ever had = €1.99!!! Life lived simply, purely, and humbly...

Is it possible to love an inanimate city more than a person?

I guess one thing brings me more happiness than the other...

Fuck - I've got to get back here before fucking economic suicide Brexit! God damn you fucking idiot leave voters!!! With your regional accents, stuck up north under a constantly grey clouded sky, complaining about immigrants and sovereignty and the dictatorship of the EU... Have you not been to Portugal you fools?!?!?!?!

    • < Hell yes, it's possible to love a city more than a significant other. I wouldn't live New York City for anyone. (despite its weather)CyBrainX
