The things that people were complaining so much about when the game came out, the overly realistic nature of it, turns out to really be the best part of the game. Even stupid stuff like having to brush the horse doesnt really add much to the game, but it does give a sense of immersion that all adds up. You dont even need to do all that extra stuff much.

Some of that stuff you can completely skip if you want, like all the camp upgrade stuff, but its cool that its there for people that really want to sink their teeth into it.

I get the sense that these guys paid attention to some things that nintendo did with breath of the wild because this does feel like a more realistic version of that game. Obviously this game is a hell of a lot more complex and deep, but i do get a weird botw vibe from it.
