I can see an upcoming scam where scammers paste your face on shameful videos and threats you to send it to all your contact list if you dont send them Bitcoins.
With the line "Good luck trying to explain to all your contacts that the video is fake, you think they will believe you?"
No need to hack your webcam anymore.Deepfakes are coming, opening a new world of possibilities.
And honestly, I can't see any positive things about Deepfakes outside funny videos like some in this thread... All I see is negative things, like scams, fake news, propaganda, etc.
- OR go ahead and post any shameful videos of yourself that you want, and if a future employer finds them say that they are deepfakessarahfailin
- nothing new, there was a site called 'is a jerk' or something, they populated it with profile pages using the public photos + names everyone's Facebook profileprophetone
- you had to pay them to take your page down... or just ignore itprophetone
