If every government has listened to the "COVID skeptics" and just done nothing...no masks, no lockdown, no rush vaccine development...what would the outcome have been?
- The other side would be complaining.palimpsest
- Even COVID believers take measures as a personal affront.
This is the way.palimpsest - Everybody wants change but nobody wants to change.palimpsest
- @palimp yeah shut down Fox, qanon and trump and all those bozos, can you do that?grafician
- See India, Brazil, etc.grafician
- Also imagine instead of covid having ebola rampant for a year with no vaccinegrafician
- they would loose 0.004 of their population, then enough people would get the virus that it stopped being a threat.pr2
- 0.4% of their population.pr2
- it would have sped everything up. the same people would have gone down with / died of it. hospitals would have been overrun, politicians would be in the dockhans_glib
- 'politicians would be in the dock' ... flol
Politicians are never in the dock.Continuity - something like india.shapesalad
- worse than indiakaiyohtee
- CASE IN POINT: pr2 again with his crazy math and no disregard for human lifegrafician
- no regard*grafician
- uncontrolled chaos... unboundend exponnential infection shifts... boom. way worse than india...neverscared
- death war distructionsted
- pr2 would have to live with the symptoms, after a decade or so the oxygen cylinder becomes his best friend and he just kills himself.sted
- @pamp Define the "other side". Because if you mean people who actually understand science and realize that dumbfuck skeptics protesting basic safeguards..garbage
- ..enabled a mutational reservoir scenario and that's why we're still dealing with this shit?garbage
- "COVID believers" is absolutely moronic, and the only "personal affront" is I still can't believe that humans are capable of such stupidity.garbage
- Case in point: pr2 said something but I didn't read it, and leave them alone because I think they might be developmentally disabled. Not a joke.garbage
- @garbage
Yes, the other side is non COVID skeptics. COVID believers to put it in simple terms. I can't dumb it down more than that.palimpsest - Words have meanings.
Get hooked on phonics, kids.palimpsest - Case in point:
Garbage seems offended by term COVID believers. Because it's wrong to believe that COVID is a very real and serious thing?palimpsest - Or because someone will always have something to complain about?palimpsest
- I think we're misunderstanding each other. I was saying the fact that we have to say "COVID believers" is stupid.garbage
- And the if the ignorance of COVID skeptics only hurt them, I'd not have to care about them. But it hurts us all.garbage
- prQmonospaced
- @palimp when I called you bobo I actually meant you act like the old robo, but you played yourself againgrafician
- btw "covid skeptics" are both far-left and far-right, everything in between is normal, centrist common sense
but the few dictate the majority 'cuz fuck allgrafician - I don't know how Bobo treated you, what goes on behind closed doors is none of my business. If I bring back sweet memories, that's on you.palimpsest
- You had a chance to speak up earlier but chose to put your tail between your legs. Now you're yapping up a different tree.
Congratulations.palimpsest - Big Pharma would’ve lost billions. Oxygen tanks instead of masks. Massive death counts. People dying from asphyxiation for decades become the new normalmaquito
- “then enough people would get the virus that it stopped being a threat.” Sure, just like the bubonic plague. You should try History instead of Philosophy.maquito
- HIV kills 1 million people every year. COVID19 already killed 3.3 million in less than 1 year and a half. Maybe it’s time to stop producing condoms, right, pr?maquito
