Affinity Designer and Photo don't recognize/show my installed fonts...
I mean it only recognizes System Fonts and Fonts in the User Library.Anything I've activated either in FontExplorer X Pro or FontBase is not showing.
I've been searching for half hour for a solution and I just can't understand.
- I uninstalled FontExplorer before installing FontBase to avoid issuesoey_oey
- Illustrator also doesn't show fonts activated in FontBase...WTF?! I already changed the root folder option and nothing works. anyone?oey_oey
- You need to restart it to recognise newly installed fonts - for each new fontgrafician
- Also in Ai you need to use Adobe Fonts/Typekit to activate any fontsgrafician
- frustrating, trying to start a project for a hour now...and I just can't get things to work. I don't remember such an issue ever.oey_oey
- okay, I just read that about AI too, but in Affinity nothing is working. thanks for your input grafician!oey_oey
- It's the same with Figma or other apps btw, for each new font installed, you need to restart the appgrafician
- Okay, fonts from FontBase get activated in Affinity only when I restart the computer...LOL!oey_oey
