You stand next to the door and yell and holler loudly like you're in a great deal of pain. Surmising that the door likely opens outwards, due to the lack of visible hinges, you stand with your back against the wall on the right side of the doorway, with poop shiv at the ready.
*ROLL*
Dennis gets frightened by your yelling and skitters off towards the poop hole with the twine still attached to his leg. He keeps his eye open to look at you but it looks noticeably dimmer than it did a moment ago, which brings the brightness of the room down by about half.
Suddenly, you hear activity on the other side of the door. A man's voice yells out something in a language you can't understand. You start to hear a couple more voices joining his but from a distance, and as they get closer/louder, you hear a sort of metal grinding coming from a mechanism being operated on the other side of the door.
A loud 'KELAK' is heard and in seconds the door begins to swing outwards, a dim orange light fills the room and mixes with Dennis' greenish hue which...
*ROLL*
Quickly disappears entirely, looking over at the poop hole, Dennis' eye is now entirely dark, but in the soft orange light you can still make out his shape quivering in the corner.
A four foot goblin-looking creature enters the cell, unarmed, and immediately starts looking around. You can hear other voices getting nearer still as you stab your poop knife towards the goblin.
*ROLL*
The poop shiv grazes its shoulder—causing it to take a step backwards & deeper into the cell with you. It turns towards you, ready to attack, and you see the scratch the poop shiv made start to pool with the slight bit of blood.
