    Plastic Resealable food packaging:

And those 'sticker' tabs you get on pasta etc to reseal it.

Millions of tonnes more plastic in the trash for no good reason.

The stickers never ever holds the plastic pasta packaging down.

The resealable packs, especially for sultana's/dried fruits, firstly the seal doesn't go alway across the pack. So even if you do manage to pinch it all away across - it's not air tight.

Secondly once you get the slightest amount of food in the seal, some prune skin, some milled pumpkin seeds.... forget about it, the seal is done for.

A shit load more plastic polluting the world when a wooden peg would suffice to hold the seal, or a paper clip, or a bull dog clip, or as I often do, an elastic band you pick off the street that a postman has dropped (here in UK, mail gets bundled up for each street, mail man then discards on the street the rubber band.)

    • It should be banned.shapesalad
    • yeah look at that mama powder, first time you pour some out, that seal is done for.shapesalad
