just had a call from someone to tell me to pull my finger out and sort out her missing luggage. i explained that i was a freelance graphic designer and had nothing to do with any airline or airport, but she insisted that mine was the number that she had been given and please could i help her as the hotel were being no use.
so i asked her which airport she was referring to and she said heathrow, so once again i told her that i was sitting in a design studio in hammersmith working on an annual review and there was nothing i could do about it.
"yes but this needs sorting out as its not my fault the baggage wasn't delivered".
"maybe not but nor is it mine - can i suggest you ring the airline and talk to them, or heathrow bagged handlers as, once again, i am a designer and in no way connected to any airline or heathrow".
"but this is the only number that works and this is the one i was given, the hotel are useless."
"that's as maybe but nevertheless it is clearly not the right number, you really need to start again with the airline, ok? good luck...."
    "oh but, er ok..."

    • Just fake it till you make it! Help the lady out! Lolpango

    • Shoulda just told her the baggage was destroyed beyond all recognition and that she would be receiving a $500 max payment.monospaced
    • Say you were holding her luggage hostage until she gives you the location of the fabled Eye of Ceylon, a gemstone that grants the owner infinite power over lifeface_melter
    • and death. Failure to reveal the information would result in pain and suffering for her unwashed undies and comedy-sized Sombreroface_melter
