I've cut dariy from my diet and it's ridiculous the amount of things i actually can't have now. It's cut my snacking down to a minimum and i do generally feel more 'on it'.
3 weeks sober now too.

- It's the essential oils doing their work.palimpsest
- ha, I cut back on dairy a while back, thinking I might be lactose-intolerant. Surprising how much food contains the stuff. You have my sympathyNairn
- Changes in diet can make you feel better. But self-diagnosing is going into "do your own research" territory. Get the jab and put on a mask.
;-)palimpsest - I just wanted to have some discipline in what I shoved in my gob. Are you lactose-intolerant then Nairn? Or you back on the milkshakes?Ianbolton
- I'm lactose-intolerant and I eat lactose powder exclusively
https://bcdairy.ca/c…drgs - ha, no as it turns out. Besides, drgs informed me that cheese is low in lactose anyway, haha. Too much very late night snacking, I think...Nairn
- What food were you surprised had dairy in it?monospaced
- If you're going that far, try doing the Whole30 diet...it will turn you into a machine. It's tough, but it's the best you'll ever feel.davey_g
- @mono - premade sandwiches and snacks mostly. Shit lunch food. Don't want to eat meat or dairy? You're fucked here in the UK.Nairn
- That's fascinating. Premade sandwiches often have cheese, so I suppose that's what you mean?monospaced
- Are you being sarccy? :)Nairn
- No! I'm actually interested in which specific things were a surprise. A sandwich with cheese wouldn't be, but a specific snack might be.monospaced
- I was surprised at how much chocolate i consumed, all of which obvs had milk in - even some of the dark chocolates. Also pesto, so making my own now.Ianbolton
- Just being aware of my snacking habits has changed my energy levels no end.Ianbolton
