    https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/…
    Per CDC data:
    0-17yo: out of 27mil infected there were 330 deaths = 1 out of 82,000
    18-49yo: out of 60mil, there were 34k deaths = 1 out of 1,800
    50-64yo: out of 20mil, there were 116k deaths = 1 out of 170
    65+: out of 12mil, 615k deaths = 1 out of 20

Stop pretending this pandemic is serious to every age group.

    • TWENTY-SEVEN MILLION INFECTED WHO THEN SPREAD IT TO MILLIONS MORE BECAUSE R≠0 IN KIDSi_monk
    • i hope the science-ignoramus downvoters have enough self-respect to look in the mirror and see their own stupidity.pr2
    • i-monk, you never read a science paper in your life.pr2
    • But we just don't know. those stats are with all the precautions taken + vaccines in place. we just don't know what would happen if we let all just be.uan
    • We have some data on it, sweden or uk at the start of the pandemic. europe who didn't believe in the danger even when italy was sounding the alarm.uan
    • but somehow they all turned around. why? :-)uan
    • Or stop pretending that you have any idea what you're talking about. Your big "gotcha" link cites over 10 MILLION emergency hospitalizations.garbage
    • garbage, any data means NOTHING out of context. provide context rather than just meaningless number.pr2
    • uan, by talking about other countries we dilute the conversation.pr2
    • COVID would not be so successfully, sustainably lethal if it killed off young reservoirs. You have no idea how viruses work bruv. Wear a mask and get a vax.garbage
    • Or continue to flaunt your ignorance, but I'm done with responding to dimbulbs.garbage
    • garbie, there are viruses that kill off the young while sparing the old. little bit or searcher goes a long way...pr2
    • lol pr2's gotta be doing a bitpango
    • pr2 did you know that viruses can spread from human to human?yuekit
    • I'm not sure exactly how you would isolate the middle aged and old of society while letting everyone else get infected with zero safeguards.yuekit
    • The most vulnerable are far more likely to but less likely to transmit it. If only we could work out how so many of them got it.Fax_Benson
    • *to dieFax_Benson
    • Also this doesn't cover people getting sick/hospitalized which is far greater number than deaths.yuekit
    • STILL advocating for the “let’s not do jack shit” approach. Fucking idiot.monospaced
    • i advocate for you guys to never leave your houses. there are wind that can blow leaves in your face. you guys seems to shit your pants with fear.pr2
    • the amount of horseshit ignorance i hear here is mind boggling. how the fuck you guys graduated collage in the first place? fuck, even high school?pr2
    • like there are all those thousands of scientist committing their life to study then write science papers, and you use those to wipe your assholes.pr2
    • it's so apparent how few of you read. like i'm talking to a bunch of illiterates who don't comprehend most basic, most BASIC, statistics or science.pr2
    • You just post cdc raw data with literally no context, then yell at everyone about context, then have a meltdown about how stupid everyone is. Daily.Fax_Benson
    • why put yourself through it?Fax_Benson
    • Funny how you think everyone is stupid, yet everyone here thinks you are the stupid one. You’re not getting it and posting this proves that.monospaced
    • It's either an unfunny bit, or he's actually that stupid. Boring any way you slice it.garbage
    • https://www.youtube.…utopian
    • All his data shows is that it isn't dangerous for children, which misses the entire point of why they wear masks. pr2 is too stupid to understand that.monospaced
    • The vaccines and masks help slow the spread of coronavirus, which in turn saves lives of the most vulnerable. It's that simple.monospaced
    • "how the fuck you guys graduated collage in the first place?"
      -pr2
      mathinc
    • It's 'college,' fucknuts. Love that you're flaunting your stupidity at level 10 though, keep going. Entertain me.mathinc
    • the data shows that the virus is not dangerous to anybody BUT 65+. Anyone who understands basic probability would understand this.pr2
    • Over 150k Americans under 65 have died directly as a result of COVID, and that's not factoring in deaths by deprivation.garbage
    • If you want to do silly comparisons, that's about how many Americans died over the span of 20 years in Vietnam.garbage
    • You're just dumb, bro. The Daffy Duck readings of your comments are hilarious though.garbage
    • Correction: "Only" 50k American deaths in Vietnam. COVID deaths under 65 has exceeded US deaths in WWI. Next hallmark for that group is dead confederates.garbage
    • comparing deaths to war is a propaganda trick straight from the mass control manual. last year there were 35k deaths from car crash. So what's your point?pr2
    • you are a tool (like literally a tool) in hands of those who know how to manipulate the mind so the masses.pr2
    • 1. Daffy Voice.
      2. Excellent job at finishing that sentence.
      3. My point is COVID has killed more people under 65 in two of our countries biggest wars.
      garbage
    • Not hard stats there bro. Get a vax and wear a mask.garbage
    • my point is: accept the information vacuum that you get exposed to creating a skewed view of reality. try to see the reality than just repeating talking points.pr2
    • funny that's what other people would say to you. sounds like you're skewing the info to fit what you want it to be.pango
    • Given that I've worked in medical publishing for fucking ages and spent most of my time parsing stats and studies, I'm not really vulnerable to siloing.garbage
    • That's the industry term for what you call an "information vacuum". What you said is seen as a laughable, armchair Joe Rogan red flag.garbage
    • I don't keep responding because I think you're capable of admitting you're wrong. At this point I think you're actually too stupid to realize it.garbage
    • I just know you're going to say some dumb shit that sounds funny in a Daffy Duck voice. Use a ton of S's in your next impotent reply.garbage
    • the ones who say they are not vulnerable because they have experience are the biggest tools.pr2
    • Refresher to the part that I've already said on here that I most likely got it early February before testing was available.garbage
    • Week and a half or so of me not being able to breathe. Coughing so hard that my esophagus tore and I was puking blood.garbage
    • A fucking month of hiccups on every breath I took, asleep or not. My girlfriend had to learn the Heimlich and do it several times when my airway would close upgarbage
    • It was so miserable that I really considered killing myself. I had good lungs from years of cycling, but whatever I had almost killed me.garbage
    • So yes, I feel very vulnerable. It's becoming very hard to not wish what I went through on people like you, because your ignorance is part of the problem.garbage
    • Funny how pr2 slinks off when actually responded to. Beep.garbage
