I just rewatched the James Brown movie, "Get On Up" starring Chadwick Boseman and was dying to see the original performance referenced in the film. This clip to me is so amazing, the showmanship, the soulfulness, the over-the-top of it all, the hype man with the cape, the backing dancers, the groove of a simple R&B riff, the audience reaction.
And then the Rolling Stones had to come on stage and follow this! I've watched this a few times now and it's dynamite.

    • Appreciate who he was and what he did but I've never been into HIS music even though I do love rare soul and funk.microkorg
