Anyone bought, or sold, on discogs? Wondering if it’s worth the effort. I’m purging stuff and I have cases of CDs to get rid of. Lot’s of imports and special editions - most unopened
- I saw a box set selling for £800. I have a case of those sets in storageGnash
- if you click on the 'last sold' link it will give you a graph of the prices something has actually sold for. some of the prices in stores are daftkingsteven
- i've sold thousands of records on discogs and as many trips to the postoffice. i've had things in my store at 50% of any other seller and they don't go...kingsteven
- add to that the last few years has been disastrous for CD resale... most will struggle to sell for a worthwhile amount unless it's something very rarekingsteven
- Ah, yes. I was wondering about how reliably those prices are. Thanks for the insightGnash
- I sell on Discogs for maybe three years now. Sold 5 CD's gave all away last month. Like 30 albums. But no rarities or boxes or something worth real money.oey_oey
- I’d only be posting the rare stuff. Tons of promotional sets and imports. Just wasn’t sure if this site was the one to useGnash
- Yes. But eBay will get you significantly quicker sales, so you can ship them all in one go. Discogs will have you making multiple trips to post office.DRIFTMONKEY
- eBay also great for selling bundles of records that wouldn't be worth posting on their own (and diggers love a bundle)kingsteven
