"You can't choose who you are attracted to" is a corner stone in LGBT. French and English have a fitting expression for it -- "to fall in love" with emphasis on "fall", as if it is something that happens to you externally and you just have to deal with it.

In a way there is freedom in this, because falling in love is not a rational decision and you cannot be made responsible for it.

But its negotiable when it comes to transphobic lesbians who are not attracted to deep voice, strong jawline, broad shoulders and male genitalia. They need to put in some work to overcome their transphobia. Problem is, how is it different from conversion therapy for gays etc?

Even if some of the lesbians caved in, how would you feel to find out that your partner is with you out of pity/trying to be politically correct/they were able to overcome their disgust? This would have swept the legs under my confidence, so why would anyone fight for this to happen? I can see only one reason: m2fs are after sex and nothing else. If that's the case I can judge the m2fs as a fellow biological man.

Based on this, is transphobia even a thing? Difficult question.
