  "Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko declared in an interview with Associated Press that at the moment Kyiv is completely surrounded by the Russian army, all exits are blocked, and therefore the evacuation of the civilian population from the city is impossible. According to Klitschko, the capital of Ukraine is “on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe” because “the infrastructure for the delivery of food and medicine has been destroyed.”
