Such GAS for an MPC Live 2.
Even moreso for the retro version even though it's about £100 more expensive!

    • It's cool, retro is def way to go but personally not gassed enuf to justify full $... but have an eye out for used

    • And I've been on fence with Octatrack II, as $200 cheaper than this guy, I like the OT's fader and live abilities, max twiddle factor?prophetone
    • But this unit is def more user friendly and visual so a bit of a toss up for meprophetone
    • Ricky gives it a thumbs up, he's posted some great vids using it in different waysprophetone
    • I see more MPC Live 1 for 400USD cheaper used. Is the Live 2 way better? why such price difference?futurefood
    • that retro version, tho. damn!futurefood
    • @ff someone posted this a while back, mpc one better in some aspects if you don't need the additional features https://www.youtube.…kingsteven
    • and the mpc one retro looks even better imo. although admittedly screen placement would seem to be more ergonomic on the iikingsteven
    • Folk say screen better above the pads on the one. YEs the One has more function buttons less menu diving.microkorg
    • The 2 can have a SSD inserted, wifi, speakers, more audio outs. Thats about it. intitally when it was launched i questioned speakers...microkorg
    • ...but actually thats what i loved about the op-1 was you could pick it up and just play it. no cables, just fun, kinda think the 2 would be like that.microkorg
    • Just ordered a Live 2. Really love the idea of doing arrangements away from the studio. Plays nice with modular too which will be handy.mort_
