In Batman Begins, Gotham is this cool noir city with a futuristic el train and tons of creativity and then a few years later in Dark Knight Rises it’s just regular Manhattan but with a football stadium addd
- From what I gather, Nolan always wanted it as realistic as possible. But, in the first movie, he didn’t have as much control and the studio told him to get moretoemaas
- “Creative” like in past franchise movies. His bargaining chip for doing a full trilogy after the success of the first ( and especially the 2nd) was more freedomtoemaas
