Not sure where I lie politically, never have been. What I don't think is right is that we have 'natural resources', eg. Hydrocarbons, that are taken out and sold to the whims of a market, with a fucking huge, partially- tax-payer- funded buffer betwixt incumbent resource extraction and spastic end-sale.
At the worst recent point in consumer history, we have hydrocarbon companies making literal fucking billions, much of which comes directly out of our pockets.
Shit ain't right.
