The only dangerous thing here is that someone believed it.
This base simulacra isn't even anywhere near the level of sentience, but like these recent image generating focused neural networks and GANs, it is exquisitely capable of acute forms of mimicry, having been taught the art using the sum of human endeavour and output in that field to regurgitate expressions that are... beguiling.
If he wanted to react so, it would react so.

It does raise interesting questions, I suppose, about just how worthy our own sentience actually is. Thankfully we're too deluded by ourselves to realise how inhuman we are too.
