  My friend is an architect here in NYC. Medium/Large firm. On the weekend he told me “all our clients just stopped paying recently. Invoices were sent for a while and then they just told us ‘we aren’t paying’. I asked him why and he just shrugged.

  Tens of millions of dollars, so not a remarkable amount of money but also not just one client. Many clients.

  What do you think is going on here?

  • Err, 'tens of millions' can make or break even the healthiest of shops. Not sure I'd be so dismissive of the kind of lost income.Continuity
