- Layer 2. You bunch a load of transactions with your coin, and then send that to btc, while pegging your coins price to btc price.shapesalad

- me things no, no country would hand over power like that - eg, someone can gobble up more of a coin than a gov or central bank could = lose power.shapesalad
- I got into crypto on all the headline statements - anti-inflationary, decentralised, limited supply, trustless...shapesalad
- ...but it would seem all those things are what make a currency work. Else.. look at the btc price volatility, look at the whales manipulating market etc. etcshapesalad

- limited supply does indeed = no inflation. but also means the most profitable company will have eventually all the currency.shapesalad
