Ever have one of those "why didn't I do this sooner" moments with gear and software?

I have finally taken the time to update the template I use in Logic Pro to move constantly-used plugins per guitar track to an aux channel and holy crap the performance improved significantly, some noise went away, and it's like everything improved sound wise. Slowly doing the same for non-audio tracks. I am happy.

    • I get this, but i constantly change how i work as i'm never happy with anything! Good work though, it's a nice feeling.Ianbolton
    • Splitting effects amongst multiple tracks is definitely the trick for better performance in Logic. You could use multiple audio tracks too if...section_014
    • ... you didn't want to do aux sends. For instance, if you wanted to have the guitar signal 50% wet on a reverb (where aux sends still leave the full signal).section_014
    • When I was using Logic, I would always get the first two cores at like 80% otherwise. Like, wtf I have 16 cores!! Use all of em!section_014
