If you point a very powerful laser beam at the sky, then you shake the thing, will the laser bend at some far away point in space?
- bend or curb or undulate...lajj
- what is gravitational lensingsted
- so no, not because you "shake it" :) but by objects with high gravity, yessted
- Moving the light source WILL "bend" it. red/blue shift of the wavelength happens when light-emitting objects move-- the speed of light remains constantsarahfailin
- The red/ blue shift only happens for axial movement, you are essentially compressing the wavefront by moving the emittermonNom
- And no. The laser will point at different points in space based on your shaking. No bending.monNom
