Robert Pollard's all time top 50 albums list for Rolling Stone magazine. Great to see Sheer Heart Attack so high that would be in my Top 5 too, personally I'd agree with exactly half of these.

    • About 5 of these songs would crack my top 50utopian
    • but they're albumsMrT
    • I'd agree with many of these. Extra points for Wire 154, Love Forever Changes and Trout Mask Replica. Trompe le Monde is an interesting choice.CyBrainX
    • I would have picked Doolittle and had it in the top 10.CyBrainX
    • No Kinks?!?!?!?

    • For the Kinks you could have Arthur, Village Green, Lola or Muswell Hillbillies. All of them were classics.CyBrainX
    • ^+1000 right? and Something Else... all those are solid albumsfuturefood
    • Lola, Dr. Sardonicus by Spirit and George Harrison's All Things Must Pass were all released on the same day. Each would make my list.CyBrainX
    • Sheer Heart Attack changed my 12 year old head and blew it!Gardener

    • Yeah Nahsab
    • I saw this earlier and was about to make a Spotify list. +1 for The Godz. Only people who grew up in Ohio or are me and Gardners age know this band. I'm both!fooler
    • I'd be actually be surprised how many QBNers even knew who Robert Pollard is before googling his name.fooler
    • No need to google. Anyone who's heard GBV knows he played and wore-out too many Television Personalties' albums and didn't even bother to put them on this listfuturefood
