having a smoke outside the bar and a guy passing came up to me... "steven" i squinted and somehow guessed his name "roger" he said "no robert"... phew close.
Robert tells me i'd had a big influence on him by being really encouraging when he was making music and helped him out when played his first gig. and now he's a councillor and tries to do that for other people.

cut to 3AM: have remembered every detail about Robert and talking to him in ~2006. his music was great and maybe once a year since i've wondered what that guys up to. know he was an absolute aloof cunt then and will never send me a message now. FFS OLD MAN BRAIN
