    @projectile

I agree with you. At this stage I’m just trolling you guys.

However there is still a lot to contemplate regarding human migration. Eg, if a certain percentage of a country are as you say “crazies idiots”, and there’s no denying the UK has its fair share of them - why then allow more in?

You could say, well they are entrepreneurial, seeking a better future, wishing to engage in economic activities not available in their own countries. However, when you do watch these social media clips that show the other side, the ‘crazed idiots’ that the BBC don’t want to talk about... then, as mentioned, the question arises why allow more in? Unvented. Their intentions and values unquestioned.

We need a cold hard stop to illegal migration. We need an economic visa route, to filter and make sure we allow in only those that can are are willing to contribute, who align to our countries values.

As for refugees we have in place a system, it’s being abused by too many chancers and economic migrants.

    • I’m a crazied idiot when it comes to typing and proof reading...shapesalad
    • 1. There is an economic visa route.
      2. The refugee system (safe route) is currently closed aside from those deemed acceptable.
      3. None of the above is working.

    • Fun fact,, my mother world in a law firm dealing with asylum claims in the 2000s. Applications were 5% genuine, rest made up nonsense claims.shapesalad
    • *workedshapesalad
    • She worked with lawyers who had to record the claims, and they were absolutely making it all up. They could clearly see a genuine case and verify it.shapesalad
    • Perhaps if people didn’t abuse the system by throwing their documents into the English Channel, shapesalad
    • Then the ‘safe and legal’ routes would be effective.shapesalad
    • @fade, you link says it largely works. What’s your point?shapesalad
    • “ Notable recent examples of where safe routes are needed but have not been provided include Uganda (in respect of LGBTQI+ people) and Sudan.”shapesalad
    • ‘ For these people, there are no “safe and legal” routes for them to come to the UK’shapesalad
    • Lol... why, why do we have to take so many countries people, if they are gay in Uganda and Sudan... they could go to Taiwan, a very gay friendly island. Why Uk?shapesalad
    • You guys are all lefties wanting to shelter everyone... resources and space are limited. Give it a break.shapesalad
    • the link simply says everything exists that you said needs to be there yet Illegal immigration is at record highs with that in place. Wakey wakey dimwit.fadein11
    • And let's not forget 70-80% of asylum cases are approved. So where you got the made up 5% figure form decades ago suits your ignorant agenda.fadein11
    • Anyway, can we expect another grand exit this weekend on realisation you have embarrassed yourself yet again.fadein11
    • there are currently only 2-3 safe routes, Hong Kong and Ukraine and briefly Afghan (no longer is I think). DYOR.fadein11
