Having Rishi Sunak as the UK PM, un-elected, but existant and de facto and de jure, is a beautiful long-term strategem from the UK Establishment.

India is now the most populous country on Earth, and will only grow moreso in a demographic dance with China.

We've reached a sort of awkward proto-accord with India vis à vis our often unfortunately fairly horrid shared history, but now we need to look forward, two entities intertwined by shared fate.

The UK is dwindling in stature and relevance. India is not, and is in the ascendant.

Rishi Sunak is our route to the future.. A clever feint towards reconciliation and the idea of future equivalence.

As much as you might not like him, UK voters, he is as fundamental to our future as Gladstone or.Atlee.

    .

    Here endeth my conspirational thought.

    • Don't forget though, they owe us big time for the railways.

      *shuffles awkwardly*
      Horp
    • We'll be lucky if they're not landing on the moon now with a long-term strategy to make mass drivers to obliterate us from orbit.Nairn
